Senior Manager, Learning and Training Development

As a leader of this function for the organization you will be developing a learning and training strategy which aligns with the business priorities, sales being one of the major priorities.
The Senior Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for:
  • Developing a Learning and Development strategy which aligns with the overall organizational strategy and business priorities
  • Leads a team of training professionals to deliver on training mandate and manage the learning framework
  • Experience and knowledge in Sales training
  • Accountable for the selection and execution of training methodology, content, and delivery
  • Overall QA of all training material
  • Delivering on all identified timelines for training milestones as part of overall project
  • Work closely with the HR, Sales, Compliance and other business stakeholders to build a cross-functional Learning & Development roadmap
  • Review existing training information and create new content to bridge knowledge gaps. Design learning and development to address performance gaps, assessment gaps or where the bar needs to be raised
  • Develop Learning and Development KPI’s showing ROI and provide status reports
  • Owns the success factors and ensure that the program is continuously improving and that the system continues to deliver management reporting
  • Proactively manage issues impacting training development and content
  • Responsible for all End User training on systems and new process rollouts
  • Facilitate in-field training and train-the-trainer workshops as required
  • Awareness of learning and development trends within and outside the industry, to bring practical and cost effective best practices to the company
  • Other projects as required
What You'll Need:
  • University degree
  • Minimum 10 years work experience in related field of adult learning in corporate environment
  • Experience with implementing large L&D initiatives
  • Expertise leading large-scale strategic planning and learning framework
  • Strong cross-functional L&D background – retail, leadership, sales
  • Strong Communication Skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong Leadership & Coaching Skills
