Senior Enterprise Developer (Integration)

Role Summary
The Senior Enterprise Developer guides other application developers and takes the lead in designing and implementing large or complex solutions that facilitates the achievement of business outcomes. The job holder works with various staff to understand business requirements and translate these requirements into appropriate system designs. The person is also responsible for testing, debugging and implementations, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as Sustainability (people, the planet, and profit).
  • Take the lead in developing short-term and long-term strategy for application integrations
  • Assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards
  • Work independently with vendors in troubleshooting and integrating with enterprise information systems like ERP, CRM, LIMS or WMS
  • Utilize technical expertise in the requirements analysis phase to ensure the solution is both fit for purpose and fit for use. 
  • Take a proactive role in planning of new business solution systems
  • Identify, track, and resolve application problems on a day-to-day basis and off-hours as required
  • Design and execute acceptance testing to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application
  • Work with Help Desk group and escalate and collaborate during incident and problem management processes, whenever necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with ever-changing trends, technologies, and standards involving application development and lifecycle management
  • Actively participate in the IT Change Management process
  • Create and update application documentation such as knowledge bases, known error articles, and operations manuals in collaboration with technical and project staff
  • Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions
  • Experienced working in agile/scrum teams with ability to lead scrum teams
  • Well versed with Microsoft Developer Tools (Visual Studio, Azure, SQL Studio) 
  • Diploma or degree in IT or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in web application development
  • Experience with integrating systems like ERP, CRM, LIMS, WMS
  • Experience with integrations tools like Mulesoft or Boomi
  • Some experience in a Manufacturing environment is considered an asset
  • Be a self-starter and a team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to make engaging presentations to senior management
  • Ability to learn and quickly comprehend new technical and business concepts
