Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the server infrastructure support of business-critical applications.  This role provides enterprise wide planning and support for servers, application infrastructure, storage and network. You will ensure high availability of all critical systems and network infrastructure by use of monitoring and support tools and best practices. The Systems Administrator will ensure a high level of security and performance controls. 
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Provide support, implementation, maintenance and reporting for production server and network environment and other infrastructure technologies
  • Work with customers to gather IT requirements
  • Automate tasks to improve efficiency
  • Enforce Active Directory and Local Group policy security requirements and standards
  • O365 support
  • NaaS and VOIP support
  • Work on various system projects related to Windows, storage and application support
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes
  • Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Windows System Administrator
  • Experience in administering Windows server environments including LAN/WAN architecture
  • Experience in installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, monitoring and maintaining Windows Servers
  • Experience supporting NaaS and VOIP environments
  • Experience with Exchange and Office365
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10)
  • Experience with Patching & Upgrades (Windows, Storage)
  • Experience with server hardware installation, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented individual with excellent problem solving skills
