About the role
As the SEO Manager you will be managing and improving the organic search performance of multiple websites in multiple global markets and across different languages. You will continuously monitor and proactively improve the website visibility to search engines and manage the performance of Organic Search as a traffic and revenue driver.

In this role you will be a subject matter expert and an internal cross-functional best practices coach that advocates for SEO best practices and stays abreast of changes in the SEO landscape and proactively takes action.

Duties & responsibilities

Working effectively across teams building synergies between many different areas of marketing and IT services you will be:
  • Consulting on and planning in all major projects and is responsible for identifying the SEO implications and consulting on key decisions impacting SEO
  • The optimization of the website to insulate it for search engine updates and potential NSEO attacks
  • Have knowledge in the other channels sending traffic to the website (affiliates, Media, PPC, email) and understand the relationships between channels
  • Constantly monitoring the KPIs of SEO traffic, bounce rates, conversion rates, orders, average order values and revenue and will be able to proactively identify and quantify the potential impact of opportunities and threats

Skills & Experience
  • Know HTML, CMS and HTTP protocols
  • Significant experience in SEO with demonstrable results
  • Have a working knowledge of PHP, Javascript, and an understanding of server side configurations.
  • Be an advanced level SEO technician and strategist with an in-depth knowledge of best practices on-site and off-site as well as changes and implications in the SEO landscape.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics as well as SEO tools such as position checkers (brightedge, getStat), Crawlers and log analysers (screaming frog, botify, oncrawl etc…
  • Be a teacher who can effectively teach best practices to cross-functional teams and effectively present in front of groups as required
  • Be able to thrive in a large cross-functional organization where it is important to connect and align across many different priorities to create solutions
  • Be able to connect SEO insights to business impacts and effectively create compelling cases to support recommendations
