Business Analyst

Affinity Staffing is actively searching for a Business Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a permanent full-time position with in a large Enterprise PMO and will offer a wide variety of projects ranging from $5M to $15M in size and 12-24 months in scope.
This role plays a key role in the execution of strategy by understanding project goals, implementing business processes that effectively leverage technology and using mechanisms to monitor and manage business progress.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Support the development and deployment of organizational metrics to monitor performance
  • Document current state and create future state solution that articulates the people, process, and technology required
  • Perform data analysis, identify the gap(s) in organizational capabilities and develop roadmap to solve the business need
  • Design business process and configure user applications to solve business needs
  • Explore and capture business and stakeholder requirements
  • Create, execute and facilitate organizational change management plan
  • Engage with cross functional teams and work with subject matter experts to create effective solutions
Qualifications:
  • Experience in requirements planning, prioritization and estimation, requirements elicitation techniques such as Stakeholder Interviews, Requirements Workshops and Prototyping. 
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder analysis skills, and experience in fulfilling Business Analysis roles.
  • The ability to work independently as well as be able to collaborate and work effectively in teams, with internal departments or suppliers, building partnerships with stakeholders. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and the ability to deal with ambiguity and exercise independent sound judgement. 
  • Excellent analytical, planning, estimating, communication, presentation and leadership skills as well as the ability to prioritize, deal with ambiguity and exercise independent sound judgement. 
  • Understanding of IT Standards as well as experience working with agile methodologies. 
  • Strong and significant experience in previous Business Analyst positions.
  • Experience building requirement artifacts such as context diagrams, user stories, use cases, functional and non-functional specifications, data mapping documents and process models.
