Senior Network Analyst

On behalf of our enterprise client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Network Analyst to join their team for an approximate 6 month contract.

Responsibilities: 
I
deal candidate will have 5 years of experience in core network infrastructure and related technology.

  • This position will ensure stable, secure and scalable Network Infrastructure servicing all business needs
  • Provide technical expertise for system design, administration, support, configuration, and installation within the practicing area
  • Lead medium to large scale internal team projects and provide technical subject matter expertise in support of functional team and business projects
  • Provide technical trend analysis, identify issues/problem areas and provide input to manager to ensure compliance with the standard guidelines
     
Qualifications 
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • 5 years experience in core network infrastructure and related technology
  • Successful completion of Cisco CCNP and CCIE
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Demonstrated network, security and voice design ability
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to write business and project documentation
  • Ability to provide leadership within a team environment, capable of training and providing technical direction in applications and systems.

  • Expert Cisco suite of routing and switching products
  • Expert Cisco suite of voice concepts (VOIP) and products
  • Expert WAN/MPLS concepts, practices, and principles
  • Expert Wireless technology, Wi-Fi, LTE concepts, practices and principles
  • Expert Internet concepts, practices, and principles
  • Expert Network Security concepts, practices, and principles
  • Expert Palo Alto concepts, practices, and principles
  • Expert F5 concepts, practices, and principles
  • Expert Network monitoring suite (netscout, gigamon, splunk)
  • Expert Cloud concepts, practices, and principles
  • Expert understanding of product suite
  • Align product knowledge in support of daily business need and organizational goals
  • Expert product implementation and administration ability
  • Situational analysis and resolution leadership
  • Advanced system infrastructure and interoperability understanding
  • Network design ability, WAN, LAN, Security, Wireless, Internet, and Voice services
  • Product life cycle management including, documentation, research and testing of new products
  • Disciplined focus on Security policy and practices enforcement
  • Advanced understanding of Network attack vectors and vulnerabilities
  • Ongoing Network Security design risk analysis and reporting
  • Implementation and administration of Network Security components
