Position Overview

We are looking for a responsible Project Coordinator with an interest in business analysis and communications to perform a variety of key activities in support of Project CHIPS (HR Integrated Payroll System).  This is a large-scale, strategic project that will provide a single, integrated solution for payroll, time & attendance and benefits requirements across the U.S. and Canada.
This role will be a member of the Project Management Office (PMO) and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Maintain and update project documentation, plans and reports
  • Assist with project plan / schedule management: monitor completion of deliverables and related tasks
  • Schedule and attend project-related meetings; prepare/distribute minutes, follow up on actions as required
  • Manage the Project e-mail account and calendar
  • Assist with budget status and respond to budget inquiries
  • Work with the PMO and Business Stream Leads to document and communicate project status
  • Assist the Business Analyst on analyzing data and preparing related documentation
  • Assist the Change Management Lead with drafting and formatting communications and training documentation
  • Assist the Quality Assurance (QA) / Testing Lead with the QA process


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational abilities
  • Project implementation experience in a coordination, administrative or business capacity
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Powerpoint, Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferred (basic training can be provided)
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint or similar project repository or system (basic training can be provided)
  • Experience in HR organizations and exposure to payroll, time and attendance and benefits solutions would be a significant asset to the role as this would allow the candidate to add value and efficiency.
This role would suit someone who is looking to gain experience on a large, implementation project within a multi-national organization. It is expected that with guidance from the project team, they will take ownership of their responsibilities and be able to deliver high-quality work.

This is a 9-month assignment.
