On behalf of our enterrpise client, Affinity is seeking a Deskside Engagement Analyst to join it's team on an exciting and large scale project which will be ramping up in January 2019. 

Services Required:
The Deskside Engagement Analyst will assist Site/Engagement Planning Lead in the following areas:
  • Engagement - Works with Site Liaison/Sponsor and Project Manager – Deployment to support Site/Department engagement activities, schedule activities and ensure site readiness;
  • Discovery - Engages with Community and/or Acute Health Authority and users to discover applications, databases, peripherals on workstations, as well as all related infrastructure, in support of generating overall inventory for Health Authorities.
  • Application intake– Reviews discovery reports and processes application intake including: clarification of additional information for discovered applications, (i.e. software media, version required, peripherals, etc.).   Follows up on application intake requests; QAs and ensures readiness for orders;
  • Licensing - Work with the FWS Licensing Manager to ensure readiness for site licensing requirements including producing licensing approval forms for Site Engagement Planners (SEP).
  • Ordering – prepares workstation orders based on identified requirements (refresh and net new); coordinates Site Lead order verification and sign off.
  • Deployment Scheduling and Implementation – Works with Site Engagement Planners and/or Project Manager - Deployment to schedule/plan the delivery of the Windows 10 workstations.   Guide/support delivery partners on day of deployment and provide post-deployment user support to ensure successful adoption.  May oversee site assigned workstation deployments.  Addresses issues and escalates appropriately.
  • Status and Reporting – Contributes to and attends site status meetings, Pipeline team meetings, licensing and other project related meetings as required.   Contributes to site reporting statistics (discoveries completed, orders placed, devices deployed, etc.).
  • Other – other reporting, engagement or BA/solutioning activities as required.
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required: 
Critical skills include the following:
  • Experience delivering a desktop upgrade project including discovery, order placement, scheduling, deployment and post-deployment support.
  • Ability to problem solve and look for solutions to barriers.
  • Broad-based technical knowledge including issue identification and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills to effectively relate to a diverse group of end-users, managers, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Organized; can manage multiple priorities efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow a detailed process.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team structure.

  • Business analysis and solutioning skills.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an asset.
  • MS Office skills (Excel).
  • Knowledge of Dashworks an asset.
  • Access to a car is preferable
